2019 New Energy with the theme of "Innovation stimulates momentum, cooperation promotes development"; The Qingdao Exhibition and Negotiation Conference was successfully held in Qingdao from October 19th to 21st. As a supporting event of the Qingdao Summit of Multinational Corporation Leaders, this exhibition aims to create an authoritative, international, and high-level "double recruitment and double attraction" and trade cooperation platform, further enhancing the level of Shandong Province's opening up to the outside world. There is a total of 1 theme exhibition area, 5 industry exhibition areas, and 4 theme exhibition areas, showcasing the planning, achievements, major projects, and cooperation needs of Shandong's transformation of new and old kinetic energy over a period of three days.

The Science and Technology Achievement Exhibition and Trading Area, which is prepared by the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, is one of the special exhibition areas, divided into the Preface Hall, Science and Technology Achievement Area, and Introduction Alliance Area. The preface hall showcases a series of achievements made by Shandong Province in carrying out the "catching up and advancing" innovation action plan, leading the province's economy to achieve high-quality development. The main contents include improving the institutional innovation system, carrying out talent attraction work, improving the basic conditions of scientific and technological innovation, coordinating and planning the regional innovation pattern, promoting the development of high-tech and industrialization, accelerating agricultural scientific and technological innovation, and cultivating enterprise technological innovation entities.

On October 20th, as one of the three supporting activities of the exhibition and trade fair, the Shandong Overseas Talent Institution Leaders Symposium and the Shandong Talent Introduction Alliance Establishment Conference were held at the Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Center. Zhang Zhuxiu, Director of the Foreign Experts Bureau of Shandong Province, delivered a speech and jointly unveiled the plaque for the Shandong Talent Introduction Alliance. China International Talent Exchange Center reads out congratulatory letters. More than 260 people attended, including leaders of overseas talent cooperation institutions, representatives of the initiating units of the Talent Introduction Alliance, representatives of member units, representatives of relevant enterprises and institutions, and guests from all walks of life.

During the exhibition, several provincial leaders and guests from the Qingdao Summit of multinational corporations visited the exhibition, accompanied by Zhang Zhuxiu, Director of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs. During his stay in Qingdao, Zhang Zhuxiu also held exchanges and discussions with the Qingdao Representative Office of the Korean Institute of Production Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Process.
